Done it now, figured it out at last

I have pressed on the settings logo which then points to settings centre. Nothing happens when I press on that. I can't see a clock icon on the dashboard either.
Any ideas?

Is there a way of not locking the car when I am inside. I'm always having to reach over to open the passenger side or rear doors. AS soon as I drive away the car locks up.
