My wife bought a 1.2 Design new end January 2024, she’s only done 520 miles and the screen has died. Took it to Vauxhall yesterday and they couldn’t fix it, so now waiting 10 days for a complete screen to be sent to them to replace it. How can a screen fail with such low miles and not even 5 months...

I believe the port only recognises FAT based drives. Maybe try formatting your USB and trying again
