Brakes on electric vehicle
Hi all, Posting to hopefully prevent some pain for others. I recently had my 20 plate corsa-e in having rear pads and discs replaced after one of the pads came away from its metal backing, resulting in disc damage. I wasn't even aware of the problem as most braking is done with the regen, and i hadn...

Re: New owner with an issue
The 12v battery connection is notoriously loose from the factory. Worth unplugging and sending it home again, it should feel a bit more secure. It's the positive connection i think. This might solve your issue.
Hope that helps

Child car seats
Anyone got a recommendation for a child seat? I find there isn't much room to have one in the car, also the incline on the rear seat makes fitting challenging.
Anyone got one that works well. This is for 9month+ but would prefer rear-facing for now.
Thanks

Re: Charging times
Are you pressing the delay charge button once you've plugged in? The charge light on the car should then go blue and it won't start until the time you set

Re: Electric traction system fault
We’ll glad to hear they’ve done some sorting. For what it’s worth I’ve had no further issues since the update, though I’ve only done about another 2k.
Hope it stays well for you
Best wishes

Re: Electric traction system fault
Yes I had the courtesy car problem too they weren't able to offer me one until they satisfied themselves there was a fault (despite me handing them the list of faults from RAC man.) I was without car for 2 weeks before they gave me a courtesy car. All I can say is push them, ask to speak to a manage...

Re: Electric traction system fault
I never updated this post but this fault happened to me whilst driving, broke down and got RAC man to do a full diagnostics. He pulled up all sorts of faults including traction control and braking safety systems - so it went back to Vauxhall a few weeks ago and got a new on board charger, a new trac...

It makes a big bing bong if you try getting out without the handbrake in I think. Don’t know if I’d trust park on a slope
