Thanks Nathan - did think of lifting the bonnet first but totally agree with you its a very poor design if this is what your expected to do? This car certainly has got some character. Be interested to see what VX will say on Monday, hopefully they will just need to lift wiper arm off & repositio...

Hi welcome like you I’m New on here & just purchased the Elite Automatic & never had Stop/ Start before but think like you I will disabling it each time I get in car?? Bit of a pain but only way at the moment. Hope you get some great info and support from this Forum

Hi Guys thought I had similar problems with New Corsa f Key Fob but turned out I had not closed the Boot Lid properly Phew ??. Thanks paul04 Yes have read quite a bit on these problems with Start / Stop on the Corsa e / f and makes situation even worse when you have the Electronic Parking Brake ? as I have on the Elite Auto? so will try all the normal advise then see where we go from there.
