I'm looking to fit my winter tyres onto the Corsa-F, were on the old Corsa but Vauxhall or is that Peugeot have changed the sizes. Owners manual states that 15x6 can be fitted but do they really fit over the 1.2T Sri discs and calipers, currently got 17x7 fitted, looks tight to me. Can anyone confirm. 15x6 108pcd ET 32. 65.1 centre.
Second part of question is does it use the TPMS with the valve insert or utilises the ABS system.
Probably won't need them now but it's become a mission.

The TPMS on the new Corsa uses the ABS system.

Carl,
Thanks for confirming the TPMS question. That makes it easier for tyre fitting.
Just need the size confirmed. Cheers.

It's been a year and I'm back to this conundrum again. Can someone sanity check my reckoning that the 15" steel rim will fit the 1.2Turbo 100bhp Sri. Book and online site suggests it would. Just trying to use the existing winter tyres I've got with new rims.

Right I'll answer my own question.
I've fitted 16" steel rims. ALCAR 7493 with 195/55/R16 winter tyres. Not plain sailing though. One alloy was stuck on due to corrosion, so get your copper grease smeared on now. Had to fit covers over the now exposed wheel bearing retaining nuts but even that required the split pin tailends needing trimmed by 1/4". Finished off with a nice pair of gloss black Stig wheel trims to match the original Hurricane black alloys.
Looking good...bring on the snow.

I had similar issues with the wheels being stuck on when I got it. Got them all off, wire brushed them all and copper greased. I fitted the same winter wheels as you. I wasn't sure on the fit on the rear compared with the front though, fingers crossed all good. Haven't fitted any covers as yet, do you have and pics or info on what you used?

The covers I fitted were from a site called Taunton trailers.co.uk item No. 2687810004
Al-Ko 56mm hub grease cap. I tried cheaper plastic ones but they came off when driving.
You'll still need to trim a bit off the retaining clip but after that they're a good tight fit.
I didn't fit tyres to rear so can't comment on what's required there. Hope that helps.
