Can anyone help I have just picked car a corsa 21 plate

on driving home in the dark I could not get the full beams to come up.

Either forward on stick or holding back. It was difficult driving as I have to travel through dark lanes

Push indicator stalk forward blue warning light comes on to extinguish push forward again.
Using the touch screen the car option and the vehicle settings, make sure the auto dipping is on.
When driving with auto lights in dark lanes the main beam automatically comes on, oncoming traffic the lights automatically dip.
