New to Corsa ownership and this forum. Had my SRi edition ‘22 plate for three days so still exploring, but noticed while cruising at 60 mph driver info screen said the gear selection was D7. The motorway was flat with cruise control engaged. I changed up on steering wheel paddle whereupon 8 was selected……..for a few seconds then switching back down to D7?? Is this normal?
Later I increased to 65 whereupon gearbox selected D8. All the years of driving I’d been told to engage top gear as soon as reasonably possible. Is this normal for auto Corsas? Or is it operator error?
