New Corsa F faults

Hi to all,

I would like to ask fellow forumers regarding some faults I have experienced on my Corsa F.

The fault I experienced in the first 1700km is gearbox issues. They are twofold:

a) walloping metal sound when shifting from the 1st to 2nd gear
and
b) gear lever exhibits a strong shaking when in 6th gear.

The vehicle is otherwise factory new, Year 2024, 100 HP, 6-speed Corsa.

Any thoughts, hints or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,

There is also another Q I would like to ask. Does (by any chance) somebody has an access to the TSBs for Vauxhall/Opel Corsa F?
TSBs might give some interesting reading on the aforementioned issue(s).

Corsa got examined by the authorized service station. And faults were confirmed.
It is expected that in the next 10 days the gearbox will be put under repair.

Seems to me that marriage with PSA has not brought expected results (quality).
It's a shame as this 100 HP variant could be the sweetpoint of the lineup.

My 2022 Corsa has the same engine and gearbox setup. I have done 11,000 miles and ever since new the gear stick shakes in 4th and 6th when I accelerate or slow down. Is this normal and should I be worried. It also feels crunchy changing gear but doesn’t make crunching sounds
