Speakers stop working

2020 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2L

Recently I have had an issue a few times while driving. I plug my iPhone into the car via USB and use car play. While driving with no warning the speakers will make a loud crackling noise and suddenly cut out. I then cannot get any noise at all from the speakers until the car has been left locked for an hour, then the system seems fine. Today while driving I had similar but left hand speakers remained working with right being knocked out. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

I don’t have any solutions but the same thing happened to me this morning on the driver side.

Crackle then all speakers drivers side stopped working, I used the balance slider to test.

Same happened to my lease Corsa (2022) a few months ago. huge loud bang and blew the sound. I turned off the engine and back on, the sound came back on. Anyway it's happened twice yesterday on my drive to visit family. I don't have the music on loud. It's in for a service next week so going to ask them - ever so strange!
