On Board Charger Unit Failure Corsa E ( F model)

Hi All. Anyone heard of this elsewhere? Car OnBoard charger unit failed during overnight scheduled charge and would not charge at public charger either.
To be fair the dealer took car in immediately ( expecting no doubt stupid owner error) and diagnosed failed unit, which I knew already. This was before Christmas so was without car for 3 weeks as obviously I had to keep enough battery 40% to drive car back to dealership once part obtained. Part now in and to be fitted on Monday coming!
This is something we would not expect on a 2 year old vehicle, still under warranty. I wonder what it might cost outside of warranty though; something to consider for the future!
It might be worth asking why this vital part part of the battery unit is not warrantied for as long as the battery unit is, if it is not. I will ask this on Monday.

Mine went within 6 months, Remember, you can still DC rapid charge it.

What year is your car? Mine is 21
Vauxhall quoting £120 for diagnostic plus £150 per hour after that if not found
And as out of warranty all cost would be covered by myself
