Sd card/ usb stick not working

Hi, hope someone can help here, recently bought myself a corsa f, loving the car.
I have tried inserting a as card into a usb stick to play the songs I had put on the card and using the usb option in sources but it won’t seem to recognise the stick even though the light is on the stick. All the songs are mpeg4/ mp4. Do I need them in another format?

I had the same issue, look at the files on the stick, there might be an extra file Wma or similar created when you copied the music files, delete that file. Also only put the albums onto the disc, do not use a file folder saying music then have the album files within this.
So! only album files straight onto stick.

Try finding the album, then artist. Should work, I put about 18GB onto a scandisk stick.

I believe the port only recognises FAT based drives. Maybe try formatting your USB and trying again
