hi all, this is my first post :)
recently bought a 20201 corsa f 1.2 and there is an issue with the keyfob
the buttons work to activate/disarm alarm but it doesnt pick up the key for the push start
i have to hold it next to the steering column then it works every time
i replaced the fob battery
a locksmith indicates key will be programmed for this to work
now could it be the engine battery?
or any ideas appreciated thankyou
maybe what fuse controls it ?
thankyou

Having had the misfortune of owning a Corsa and experiencing the key fob and entry issues... thankfully now rid of it. What I will say is a lot of the issues associated with it are engine battery related. The early models had an underrated battery fitted so possible uprating yours may cure some of the problems. What I'd do is try and get a loan of one and try it. Mind once the battery is reconnected it strangely needs to be left for approx 10 mins before trying to start it, also the battery connections can be loose as there only clipped on. Weird but true. Hope you get some success as it done my heid in for 3 years. I didn't change my battery as it was a lease car.😂
